Coaches there are 3 steps that you need to take in order for your team to complete all of the NCAA requirements.
1. Coach: As a coach you need to have your Gold license in order to register your team. Click here to get coaches certification: BIT.LY
2. Team: The NCAA has a new registration site for your team to register for certified events.
Click here to go to the new NCAA team registration: TEAM REGISTRATION
3. Player: Also new is now players will have to go to the NCAA website and register and do a educational course.
NCAA Link for Athletes: ATHLETE REGISTRATION
Only athletes that complete this will be allowed to participate at a certified event.
The USAB link to be used for renewing an existing USAB gold license or for obtaining a USAB gold license for the first time: USAB.COM
You must renew a license if you already had one. If the coach obtains a new license, then it will not auto-validate in the BBCS and will delay their access to the BBCS for 2020.
Base fees for the USAB Gold License for the 2019-2020 season are as follows:
Domestic Applicant Annual Fees: $58.00 – If registering before January 1, 2020. $68.00 – If registering in January, February, March, May or June. $125.00 – If registering in the months of April or July as these are high volume processing months. International: $77.00 – If registering before January 1, 2020. $87.00 – If registering in January, February, March, May or June. $142.00 – If registering in the months of April or July as these are high volume processing months.
Important: If you live in a county that charges extra fees to process background checks, you will be charged separately for those fees by Sterling Volunteers in order to process your background check.
Coaches and athletes should RENEW their previously created BBCS account and NOT create a new account. This is done by logging in to their existing account and updating the information on their profile rather than selecting Register as a New User button.
Athletically Related Activities Limitations: In compliance with the USAB/NBA Youth Guidelines, a PSA may participate in no more than two games on any one day for team events.
